Petitions for Residency Reclassification

For all residency reclassification petitions:

  • Students must be registered for the term/session for which they are seeking reclassification, and
  • Petitions must be submitted by mail or in-person; Electronic submissions will not be accepted.
FALL:This petition submission cycle has closed; petitions are no longer being accepted.
WINTER:Residency reclassification petitions will be accepted from November 4, 2026 through January 4, 2027.

Congratulations Summer 2026 Terp graduates!

Summer 2026 degrees will post to transcripts on September 2, 2026. At that time, you will be able to view your degree(s) on your unofficial transcript and request official transcripts or degree verifications as proof of graduation. Diplomas are mailed approximately 4-6 weeks after degrees post.
