Description UMEG is the University's official grade reporting tool. UMEG allows course instructors to view and download course rosters, verify student attendance, download student email addresses, and submit midterm and final grades.
How to Access the System How to access UMEG:

  1. Make sure you have access to UMEG (if you need access to UMEG, please refer to the "How to Get an Account" section below).
  2. Go to ARES at
  3. Select "UMEG-Electronic Grades and Rosters" from the 'Quick Links' box on the right side of the page
How to Get an Account How to obtain a UMEG account:
  • Course Instructors: Access to UMEG is automatically granted once you are designated as the instructor of record for a course in the scheduling system.
  • Administrators: To request UMEG access, email your name and UID number to Depending on your role, additional approval may be required.
